Quarterfinal within reach for City after victory in Kiev – International Football

Manchester City has done excellent business visiting Dinamo Kiev. After the 3-1 victory in Ukraine resembles the English club is for placing first for the quarterfinals of the Champions League.

The opening phase was the home team that City tried to fix the half. It provided opportunities for Danilo Silva and Lukasz Teodorczyk, but really in trouble goalkeeper Joe Hart came out. Five minutes but for the rest it was still a hit. Agüero gave the ball great on Raheem Sterling and his cross was shot by David Silva.

Still Agüero got to rest a great chance at 0-3 but again shot the Argentinian wide. Nevertheless, City seemed already to prepare for the quarterfinals, but Dinamo came back well in the second half. Already got some help while Nicolás Otamendi. A shot by Vitali Buyalsky flew namely through the Argentine defender behind the hopeless heart.

Eleven minutes from time was the same Buyalsky close to equalizing, but Hart took this time drawn salvation. Toure was given three minutes later a great chance to increase the lead for City, but at the behest of Sterling he knocked completely detached outside the goal of the 41-year-old Shovkovskiy. The Ivorian made his miss still good, because shortly before the end of regular time, he shot brilliantly in the 1-3. Thereby Manchester City has an excellent starting position for the return of three weeks.
