Munsterman: ‘Twente never harm’ – Telegraaf.nl

ENSCHEDE –

Joop Munsterman must wait to see whether FC Twente proceedings against him and Aldo van der Laan start. The former chairman refutes the suggestion that the club from Enschede because of a previously signed deal any action it might take against him

.

“I have no indemnity asked for and prepared themselves for no case against the club,” said Munsterman. “I will never harm FC Twente.”

Aldo van der Laan

Director Gerald van den Belt did not elaborate on whether FC Twente action against Munsterman and his successor Van der Laan Tuesday after draining of the contract with investor group Doyen walked out. “I thought it was a good estimate of him to leave,” said Van den Belt, which states that the departure of the president has no financial impact. “Early this year, he jumped at, but we do it on our own.”

‘Substantial discount

Van den Belt did not say how many FC Twente Doyen still owes, but that the club a “substantial discount” has stipulated, as with other creditors. How the dubious-looking cooperation actually sticking together, however, he still does not know. The leaked documents appear to be genuine. That certainly applies to a letter about the ending of the pledge of the TV rights signed by Van den Belt.

“But within the current leadership no one was aware of these possible additional documents. As the pieces are real, we have a lot to explain something out. There you get really despondent. On transfers, I noticed nothing affects Doyen. This week we have all requested from them, but no contact had them. That was always Aldo. “
