Hockeysters walk final Champions Trophy wrong – NUsport.nl

The Dutch hockeysters there Saturday failed to reach the final of the Champions Trophy.

Host Argentina in Mendoza at the semi-final 2-1 to strong . The winning goal by Carla Rebecchi was only in the last minute.

Netherlands was featured on lead Lidewij Welten in the first quarter. In the third quarter made Silvina D’Elia 1-1.

Until Saturday impressed the team debuting coach Sjoerd Marijne hardly at the tournament in Mendoza. Team qualified for the semifinals but laborious, Thursday by winning 1-0 in Germany.

In the shoot-outs Australia was supreme. Georgia Nanscawen, Karri McMahon and Emily Smith utilize all three of their chances, while all New Zealand women were missing.

Orange plays at 23:00 (Dutch time) the other semi-final against Argentina. A final against Australia would be the repeat of the World Cup final in The Hague. Who won last summer Orange
