Van Gaal looks infirmary slowly draining – Goal.com

Manchester United receives Sunday Liverpool at Old Trafford. Manager Louis van Gaal is confident, thanks to the finally deflating infirmary

. “We have only four injured That’s better than ever.” Van Gaal said in conversation with MUTV . “Only Luke Shaw, Chris Smalling, Angel Di Maria and Daley Blind are not yet deployed against Liverpool.”

It means that Phil Jones, who had an injury to his shin, recovered from his physical discomfort. Also fullback Rafael has left the infirmary. The Brazilian was struggling with an injury to his groin, but is fit enough to make minutes against Liverpool.

Rinse the back thin

The chance that Rafael plays against the Reds , however, is small. Antonio Valencia is doing well on the right. The return of Jones is the more important. The disappearance of Smalling was the flush back thin. Smalling ran last Monday a groin injury in the match against Southampton (2-1 win)

Smalling certainly seems to be there with it until after the Christmas sweet. Di Maria seems to be quickly back in action. The Argentine million purchase last month ran a hamstring injury during the match against Hull City won (3-0) and takes the game with Liverpool just not.

Blind comeback far away

Also forth Shaw is his time on the scrapheap almost over. The back is like Di Maria almost usable again. However, Van Gaal Blind is still a long time to miss. The Dutchman, this calendar certainly not in action. The defender-cum-midfielder sustained a knee injury in the game against Arsenal (1-2 victory).
