Tie at Southampton United thanks to Van Persie and Pellè – NU.nl

In an exciting game Van Persie put the visitors an early lead, but former Feyenoord Graziano Pellè made after more than half an hour for the equalizer.

However, it was Van Persie in the second half duel decided. With the win passes Southamptonen United and West Ham United at the rankings in the Premier League.

Van Gaal’s team is third with 28 points from 16 matches. Southampton dropped to fifth place and two points less.



Poor backward pass
